The Mission of the school is to provide an environment that lays emphasis on intellectual and emotional growth in which every student discovers and realizes his/her full potential and hence the highest academic standards are achieved. 

We lay strong emphasis on inculcating values – integrity, ethics, moral courage, hard work, responsibility and self-discipline.

Our activities focus on developing confident, visionary, effectual individuals with sensitivity and concern for the less fortunate, underprivileged, the environment, harmony, and human values. We strongly believe in nurturing today’s young minds and transforming them into inspiring leaders for tomorrow. We believe in creating an environment where students, teachers, parents, and the administration work together as a nurturing community.

History

DC Model Senior Secondary School, Panchkula derives its roots from undivided India as its journey started way back in 1946. Master Rameshwar Dass, (M.R.Dass) a Philanthropist and an educationist established the first English medium school at Ferozepur, in Punjab. The belief that education should be relevant, up-to-date, and above all accessible to all, helped the school attain reputation and fame in a short span in the Education circle.

With the view to spreading the good work, D. C Model Sr. Sec. School a sister concern of the same institute was established in Panchkula by the Director, Mr Bharat B. Gupta in 1980. The school acquired CBSE Affiliation in 1987. Since then the school continues to attain excellence in academics as well as co-curricular domains under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Bharat B. Gupta. The Institute has acclaimed a repute for dedicating itself to service to mankind and shaping human excellence.

The legacy to serve inspired the inception of yet another branch under the name, DC Montessori Sr. Sec. (SMART) School, in 2008 at Manimajra, Chandigarh. Both institutions promulgate the motto, Learn to Serve.

Presently the school nurtures Medical, Non-Medical, and Commerce streams at DC Montessori. With the ever-growing demand and widening the scope of career options, the school intends to introduce the Humanities stream also shortly.
